Live: Dyne (CH)
Just graduated of the Media & Interaction Design department at ECAL in Lausanne, my work is focused on sound devices and experimental ways to compose music in our technological age. Passionate about music itself, I am also coding and soldering electronics for the purpose of making interesting noises! I recently wrote my bachelor thesis about neural networks and their use in composition. In the near future, I aim to develop interactive collaborations between artificial intelligence and composers with innovative, both soft and hardware.
The musical side of my work is named Layer V, a spontaneous corpus of compositions, using field-recording, FM synthesis and a concrete approach of percussive sounds. Released since 2015 on the label EICA Records, this music is strongly related to Downtempo and IDM influences from the 90’s. A range of Layer V’s music can be found here:
